About

Rebecca Lynn Dose made her theatrical debut at the age of eight when she was cast in a children's production of Aladdin in the role of "Gemstone #3": a literal rock. In the years since, theatre has made up a substantial part of her life. She began her collegiate career in Columbia College Chicago's Musical Theatre program. While exploring the different departments and facets of the theatrical process, she discovered stage management by happenstance. She immediately found a passion for the field and turned to the school's technical theatre program to finish her degree, receiving hands-on training as a stage manager, technician, and production management assistant.

In the years since, Rebecca has served in multiple capacities with several well-established companies in the theatrical and live event fields including Magik Theatre in San Antonio, TX; Blue Man Group Chicago; the Chicago Humanities organization; the Theatre Conservatory at Roosevelt University; Fever Entertainment; Old St. Patrick's Church; The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities; and numerous Chicagoland theaters.

In addition to industry-standard stage management work, Rebecca has experience as a production assistant, event coordinator, administrative assistant, hospitality associate, customer service representative, and even as a pet care provider.

Rebecca is currently based in Chicago, working as a stage manager and arts administrator. She is always seeking further opportunities in Chicago and beyond.
